He and his dad saw the group on the local public station and really enjoyed it. He repeatedly asked for the CD.
Even though I listen mostly to country, I must admit that I really do enjoy this CD. When the kids are talking about their favorite music groups and songs, he is quick to say "Celtic Thunder" is his favorite.As for me, I think the music is really good.
He is still listening to the CD. The songs are also very good and memorable, even my least favorite, "Puppy Love".
I bought this for our 7 year old son. My son talked about the group constantly.
The singers are all very good.
On this first CD, you get a real taste of their typical musical fare. For five such different voices and styles, it's amazing how beautifully they work together in the ensemble songs.
There's something on this CD for everyone, and you'll probably find yourself listening to it more often than you'll care to admit. There are songs that will give you goosebumps, songs that might make you tear up a little bit, and songs that are just pure fun (I laugh a bit during the bonus track, "Puppy Love," because it's just too cute).
There is some original music, and also some really fantastic covers of great songs. But if you're new to Celtic Thunder and you're trying to make up your mind (or considering it for a gift), buy it (at least I recommend doing so).
Celtic Thunder is a great group-- both live and on CD. Each solo performer has his own unique genre and style, so you get a mix of classical music, popular music, traditional Irish or Celtic music, and everything in between.
If you're already a dedicated fan (guilty here), then you'll be getting this music in some form or other already.
It is a true blend of up lifting music. Celtic Thunder is totally awesome. The way to decribe is to say that it makes me happy just to hear it.
I if was brought out in your listing, I would have bought the CDs from you. Since then I saw other CDs at a TARGET. I was surprised that the Celtiic Thunder CD did not have the all the songs of Celtic Thunder DVD. I didn't visually check out the songs until I arived home and put the CD in the player. By buying 2 more CD's I finally now have all the songs from the DVD.
I absolutely LOVE these guys.I don't think that Heaven itself can have more perfect voices than these guys. If I could give this CD a 10 then I would. I downloaded this cd 2 months ago and have listened to it over and over again daily.I can NOT get enough of it. Each has his own unique voice and style and together they are FANTASTIC.
